Language X-Ray is built for ELD and ESL teachers. This policy explains what data is handled when you use the app or website.

WHAT WE COLLECT

We do not collect personal information. Language X-Ray requires no account, no registration, and no login.

TEXT YOU SUBMIT

Text, images, and documents you paste or upload are sent to Anthropic's API for analysis. This data is processed solely to generate the diagnostic output you see on screen. We do not store, log, or retain submitted content on our servers. Anthropic's data handling is governed by their privacy policy.

LOCAL HISTORY

The app stores a session history in your browser's local storage so you can revisit recent analyses. This data stays on your device and is never transmitted to us. You can clear it at any time using the CLEAR ALL button in the history panel.

ANALYTICS AND TRACKING

We do not use analytics, advertising trackers, or any third-party tracking services.

CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

Language X-Ray is a tool for teachers, not students. We do not knowingly collect information from children. Student writing submitted for analysis is not stored or associated with any individual.

CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

If this policy changes materially, we will update the date above. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of any changes.
